Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services for at least five years to certain members of the Royal Family.

At present around 800 firms hold Royal Warrants of Appointment. They represent the widest cross-section of British trade and industry (there are a small number of overseas firms). They range from individuals practising traditional crafts to large firms equipped with the latest technology

TIS Software has held a Royal Warrant for the supply of computer software to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh since 1984.
